As a Construction Manager, Anthony provides managements and leadership for the Motor City Building Company team. He is responsible for handling day to day operations for the Company including management and oversight on Project Based Renovations and coordination with both the Project Ownership and Development teams
With a background that includes 12 plus years of experience in the construction field, Anthony has worked on many different types of projects, from single family rehabilitation to multifamily apartment complexes and commercial build outs.
ANTHONY GOINS
In his experience working in Detroit, Anthony has been a part of a team that has seen success and national recognition in Multi-Family Historic and Tax Credit Rehabilitation. In working on Historic Tax Credit Projects, he is experienced in the historic application process and due diligence requirements from Part 1 Application to Part 3 Certification of Completed work at project completion. He is familiar with National Historic Preservation Rehabilitation guidelines and has worked with City of Detroit, the Michigan State Historic Preservation Office and National Parks Service to meet federal, state and local requirements for historic rehabilitation.
Anthony's current responsibilities include subcontractor management (including writing and execution of Scope of Work and contracts), field management and supervision, scheduling and coordination, subcontractor and project accounting, oversight of project compliance (Including Davis Bacon requirements as well as EEO planning and reporting). Anthony also oversees the development of internal structure and processes for project-based accounting. He is responsible for assembling the project draws and documentation for project funding and is experienced in AIA project related documentation.
Anthony is also a licensed Lead Based Paint Supervisor, has CPR and Job Safety Training and has experience operating various types of project machinery.
